Brooklyn's 3rd Birthday Party

The Birthday Girl
The Set Up

The Party
(This year we did her party at The Little Gym)

First:  Free Play
Brooklyn mimicking Chandler.  She likes to imitate Chandler's unsteady walking.

Second:  Organized Activities
BELLS
WARM-UP
SCARF TIME!

Clearly Brooklyn wasn't the only one that thought this was big fun...
Chandler didn't get a scarf, but she was certainly IN on the dancing part...

BIG FUN BLOW-UP JUMP THING
Third:  Refreshment Time!

Fourth and Final Thing:  Back to Gym for More Free Play

Complete with Basketball
And Bubbles
And Joe!!!
(the gentlemen in the picture below with a child over his shoulder)
Joe works for the Little Gym and is really just a big kid himself!  He was out there playing with the kids, picking them up (even kids who are normally shy and scared of strangers), tickling them and letting them "roll" him around on the floor.  The kids just LOVED him he made the party a total hit!

Poor Chandler was starting to tucker out by the end.
But the rest of the kids were still going strong.  I mean, check out this craziness.

Okay, the picture doesn't really do it justice...but just envision kids (on a sugar high) everywhere, bubbles everywhere, balls everywhere, fun music in the background.  Pure fun!!

The Party Favors

Roll = Fruit Roll Up
Jump = Little Jumping creature
Twirl = spinning top
Play = Play dough
Stickers = obviously stickers
You're a winner = a "winner" medal

(Probably no one at the party realized that the items in the bag corresponded with the poem, but I tried to keep with the gymnastics theme.  =))

Because everyone at the party was constantly running or jumping it was hard to get great pics...here are a few of the outtakes:

I think that every single person that came had at least a 30 minute drive...many 1 hr, 3 hr or 5 hr drives so thank you so much to every single person that came and helped make this party SO MUCH FUN for B.  Judging by the look on her face, I'd say that she felt special and that this party was a success!!
