Mom and Dad came into town to celebrate Memorial Day weekend with us.
Mom always comes with some special treats or projects for the kids. This trip, several of them were Memorial Day themed!
She brought red and blue polish to paint their toes!
She brought these cute little headbands for all the little munchkins to wear...
And she brought stuff for them to help her make cupcakes.
And cute little American flags to decorate them with!
Unfortunately Chandler didn't get to help make the cupcakes because she was sick all day Saturday. =(
Poor baby!
On Sunday, we went to church and Gibson sported his red, white and blue hat!
He looked so cute!
Then on Monday, we went to our tennis club. They had a giant blow-up water slide and grilled out some yummy hamburgers! The girls slid, played some tennis and ate.
There were some baby-loving older girls that were there who much preferred time with Baby Gibson over playing on water slides or playing tennis. They kept him entertained and vice versa for like 30 minutes!!! He was getting pretty tired and I thought we were going to have to leave, but once the girls came over, he was all smiles and laughs. I think he might be a little flirt!
That night we went to an outdoor mall with a play area. The kids played while Eddie and I took turns shopping and the weather was perfect!
There was great lighting for pics here, but B's eyes are so sensitive to sunlight that she couldn't look at the camera.
So we got a couple of sister pics here, but they are darker and harder to see.
How many pics do I have like the one above with Chandler looking at B. Love it!
Chandler kinda looks like she has a mohawk because
a. Her hair is in a french braid and
b. because she ripped a rubberband along with a huge chunk of hair out of the front of her head a couple of months ago and it is growing back now...short and spiky.
We proudly wear our red, white and blue because we LOVE AMERICA and are so thankful for the ultimate sacrifice so many have made to afford us the freedom that we get to enjoy everyday!
