If I had to describe Brooklyn right now, I would say:
Blonde hair
Blue eyes
Tall, but tiny
athletic build
Unfortanetly, really bad eczema skin
left-handed
deep voice
LOVES to laugh
life of the party
strong-willed
ENDLESS amount of energy
Terrible Eater
FABULOUS sleeper
- Lucky (her pink blanket) and her Covers (her brown blanket)...always said together: "Lucky Covers"
- Bubble Baths (wants one EVERY night...even when she's not dirty...and will keep asking until someone, a.k.a. Daddy, gives in)
- Hanging out with "Big Kids"
- TV - Mickey Mouse is still favorite (also likes Fresh Beat Band, Dora, Wiggles, and Barney)
- Singing (words are never totally right, but can carry a tune!)
- riding her tricycle
- playing with toys (will play by herself for hours and especially LOVES Fisher Price People)
- stickers
- wildflowers
- Daddy
Out of a box with like 100 different people in it, she picked these to go together in these rooms.
pretty smart, huh?
Then, this next one is baffling...not totally sure why she picked babies to go with farmers and chickens...
Favorite Foods:
- Chickfila Chicken nuggets and fries (Watch out Cow Appreciation Day...we are coming July 8th!)
- Spaghettio's with Meatballs
- Kraft Mac and Cheese
- and Pizza! (will eat frozen or delivery pizza...this flexibility is HUGE for her)
- cupcakes
- chips
- applesauce
- Nothing makes her happier than to give a BIG hug to anyone at anytime on command
- Nearly every morning, after I get dressed, she says, "Mommy, sooooo cute!"
- When it's time to fix her hair, she goes and gets me her brush, comb, hairspray, water spray bottle, and detangler and goes directly to her hair fixing spot (I, of course, provide the start-shaped sprinkles for her to keep her still)
- She's a GREAT helper and so good about cleaning up!!
- she can make Chandler laugh harder than anyone else
- ALWAYS in the mood for a dance party
last day of school...hugging one of her friends good-bye
- Potty-trained!! (woo-hoo!!)
- learned to ride tricycle
- moved to a "big girl bed" (pictured here with "Lucky Covers")
- learned all her colors
- can spell her name out loud
- gave up her pacifier
- can wink
- Got her first haircut
- Completed her first year of school (Mother's Day Out)
Crazy Socks Day
- Became a Big Sister
Teaching Chandler the appropriate TV (pronounced "T-Wee") stance
teaching her how to play
teaching her how to shop
And teaching her what sisterhood is all about
We love you SOOOOOO much, Baby B!! Our world is so much better with you in it!!
Happy 3rd Birthday!
